Infrared heating is an indispensable modern heating system in 2020. But 14 years ago, in 2006, when Mr. Eugene Verbraak started distributing infrared heating systems, it was still in its infancy.
Central heating running on fossil fuels was commonplace at the time. Heating with electricity was considered inefficient and terribly expensive. Nevertheless, the company Enerco took the plunge and commercialized this then-new form of heating.
Enerco's technical background was already focused on green energy and energy-saving technologies like LED lighting and solar panels. However, infrared heating technology became a passion, and the company's focus quickly shifted entirely to this new concept.
In 2006, the company had to fight to bring its products to market. Most retailers didn't even know what infrared heating was. Moreover, people quickly panicked when they saw a plug connected to the panels. Electric heating wasn't fashionable at all.
Nevertheless, Enerco International slowly but surely succeeded in establishing its product on the market. Since entering the market, the company has seen its revenue increase by 40 to 50% annually.
Year after year, the company steadily gained market share and expanded its product portfolio. Enerco is now the exclusive distributor of several leading brands in this sector.
In 2006, a 200 m² warehouse was sufficient to store the infrared panels. In 2020, Enerco now has a stock capacity of more than 5,000 panels, spread across three warehouses in the Benelux and one in Germany.
This gives Enerco the advantage of being able to deliver most goods directly from stock. Thanks to this infrastructure, they deliver goods throughout the Benelux within 24 hours.
In Europe, deliveries can be made between 48 and 72 hours.
Enerco International's product range is now available in a comprehensive, freely available product catalog. It features approximately 450 different infrared products, and the range is constantly expanding.
